J O B R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S

Develop, monitor and evaluate occupational health, safety and environment Policy, Plans, Programs for the project activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulation, client requirement and international best practices to achieving desired goals.

Conduct site inspection, walk through in all project site and Coordinate with top management on all HSE matters on daily basis.

Ensure and document company's compliance with mandatory HSE requirements and bring to management's attention areas of deficiency develop and implement HSE training and educational programs, safety meeting, workshops, safety campaign etc.

Promote HSE awareness amongst the workforce and to hold regular site meetings, tool box talk meetings with supervisors, workers, sub-contractors etc. on HSE matters to enhance QHSE knowledge and awareness.

To possess and display professional skills for creating and sustaining QHSE culture throughout the project.

Preparation and submission of HSE Plan and procedures for proposal.

Responsible for monitoring & assessing hazardous, unsafe situations & unsafe acts developing measures to assure personnel safety.

Monitor and ensure the execution team activities for HSE compliance according to Company’s policy and standards and other applicable legislation & regulations.

To discuss, coordinate activities, and resolve loss prevention problems by developing factual and objective information.

Executing Safety policies about occupational cases and non-occupational cases as per legal requirements to line managers, supervisors & workforce.

Ensure that environmental monitoring is in place to make the environment safe for the people and other community as per the ISO Standard.

Ensure the welfare facilities of workers at working areas.

Investigating any accident or high potential near misses or dangerous occurrences and apply corrective action.

Ensure that the workers are provided with standard PPE (as per the job requirement) and workers use them in proper way.

Strict adherence of company safely regulations with emphasis on working at restricted, hazardous and elevated areas depending of type of area classifications. Conducting HSE induction, Safety training, Refresher Training, Preparing Training Matrix on monthly basis appropriate to site activity, Schedule & conduct frequent training on all safety related subjects for all levels. Keep and maintain up-to-date records of on-the-job training.

Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspecting job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations.

Provide appropriate safety and Protective equipment to all employees at work site and to ensure that the equipment provided must be properly used.

Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintain records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.

Ensure all HSE related issues are communicated on daily and weekly tool box talk.

Provide HSE induction training to all new comers.

Provide job specific training.

Demonstration of different types of fire & safety Equipment about their use and works.

Conducting prior Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment.

Conduct routine Safety inspection, safety audits and safety walk through.

Ensure that all equipment’s and lifting gears are inspected and certified by the third party

Ensure permit to work system being implemented.

Inspection of scaffolding, Heavy equipment, Electrical equipment, Portable appliances and Fire related equipment.

Maintain record of accidents and incidents including details analysis of each injuries and damages.

Implementation of Traffic management system in construction site.
