Development Officer and Donor Relations Coordinator (2013 – 2021)
Yampa Valley Medical Center Foundation
I began working with the Yampa Valley Medical Center Foundation after being in property
management for 22 years. This was the most rewarding and enjoyable position of my career. As a
Development and Donor Relations Coordinator my responsibilities were:
• Collaborate with staff to research and develop donor cultivation opportunities.
• Supports donor development by coordinating processes and activities related to
stewardship, cultivation, events, volunteers
and fund administration.
• Produces communications materials to support donor development across multiple
mediums. Performs administrative duties, including preparing reports and data entry.
• Develops relations with hospital employees to foster a culture of philanthropy.
• Managed all aspects for our fundraising events.
Resort Group, LLC from 1991 thru 2013
The largest locally owned and operated property management company in Steamboat Springs,
Colorado. Specializing in full service nightly rental, private home-care and homeowner association
management. Resort Group is the parent company to Mountain Resorts and Steamboat
Association Management. Over the course of my 22 year career, listed below are my job titles and
responsibilities in chronological order.
• Director of Association Management (2009-2013) Steamboat Association
Management
My position as a property manager involved managing 13 homeowner associations. I coordinated
with company staff and private vendors for various capital projects on behalf of the HOA's and
presided over all Board meeting and HOA meetings; managed and prepared operating budgets;
manage capital projects; enforce association policies.
• Property Management General Manager (2002-2009) Mountain Resorts
As a member of the Mountain Resorts Executive Committee, this position encompasses the all of
the responsibility of an owner liaison, in addition to those, I directed the daily operations of an
independent condominium resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I worked directly with
homeowners and board members of the association. Prepared and managed over a half a million
dollar operating budget and reserve schedule and presided over HOA and Board meetings.
• Owner Liaison (1991-2002) Mountain Resorts
Homeowner’s primary contact with management company providing familiar, consistent, and
prompt customer service. Establish and sustain relationships with over 250 owners of high-end
rental properties. Communicate with owners regarding property usage, refurbishment needs, rental
income and homeowner association management. Coordinate and manage services with company
staff and private vendors on behalf of owners to ensure investment security. Orchestrate and
schedule meetings for homeowner’s associations, update and maintain all association records.
Apprise Mountain Resorts executive staff of owner concerns and suggestions. Facilitate
communications among owners, maintenance department, and HOA capital management team.
Office Manager (1986-1991) Clinicare Medical in Denver, Colorado (no longer in business)
I was an office manager for an industrial medical clinic that specialized in pre-employment
physicals, drug screening and minor on the job injuries. Our clients were Yellow Freight,
Continental Airlines, and King Soopers to name a few. Responsible for coding charts, working with
physicians and staff for the best patient care. I coordinated with insurance companies and
workman’s comp regarding rehabilitation for employees to get them back to work as soon as
possible.
