Head Nurse : is responsible for supervising the work of the nurses /midwives on her team and for ensuring that they have the appropriate training and direction .She works with the doctors to prepare and follow individual care plans for each patient and updates the doctors regularly on progress and any changes in the patient condition.The Head Nurse also cares for the patients directly herself, builds relationship with them and ensures that they are well cared.

Scrubbed/Circulating OR Nurse: Ensure medical equipment needed for the surgery is available, Follow surgeon’s directions Pass the medical equipment to the surgeon,Monitor patient’s condition during surgery, Circulating Nurse ensures the operating rooms are sterilized and that they remain sterile during procedures and accountable for counting .
