Resume:

Compassionate and detail-oriented registered nurse with 12 years+ of experience, looking to expand my role as a nurse practitioner. I am no stranger to hard work and dedication, having “worked my way up” the healthcare ladder. I have worked for Stormont Vail Health for the past 15 years, where I started in radiology film file, worked as a patient-care technician on the cardiac floor, and transitioned into the LPN role for a busy internal medicine provider until I decided to pursue my degree as a registered nurse. As a registered nurse, I have worked in the cardiovascular outpatient clinic, as a circulator in surgery for the cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, and currently as a triage nurse in Health Connections. I passed AANP board certification in April and graduated from Fort Hays State University in May. I was the recipient for the “Outstanding Graduate Student” Award in Nursing as well as the prestigious Leora B. Stroup Award, which is given to one doctoral student each semester for nursing excellence and clinical expertise.
