I was employed as an apprentice teacher for the grade one class. I was responsible for assisting the teacher with the day to day running of the classroom. I was responsible for the morning meeting and teaching of phonics. The covid 19 pandemic saw me stretch and reinvent myself as a professional and teach via zoom and master how to use google classroom.

In 2021 i was the apprentice teacher for two of the grade 00 classrooms assisting in lesson planning setting up, monitoring and engaging with students during the centres of developmental play. The monitoring and assisting with toilet routine and also nap time. I was also responsible for ensuring that the learners adhering to all COVID 19 protocols
