Core Duties

Demonstrate an overriding commitment by effectively implementing HSE Policy, Plans and Procedures and promote vision & values and Code of Business Conduct.

• Inspect and evaluate all equipment, practices and procedures in accordance with safety legislation and government regulations

• Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policy, programs and plans

• Manage and coordinate implementation of safety systems, procedures and policies to operate in compliance with statutory requirements

• Coordinate safety training needs identification and development of training modules. Identify possible external (Business partners – Barrick, Kansanshi and Kalumbila) – service providers to facilitate training.

• Manage implementation and maintenance of Behavioural Based Safety process in the Mine for Kascco employees.
