At the end of every examination, we ask the Radiologist to assess our initial findings. Radiologists carefully reviews our case images saved or re-scan again infront of the Radiologist or the Doctor re-scan again to ensure our correct diagnosis.
After each in-patient is finished, we carefully push the patients with wheelchair, stretcher or bed towards the x-ray reception for the porter to receive it and send back to the ward.
Upon completing each in-patient, we should write on the patient’s file to inform the ward staff’s that the ultrasound examination they requested is already done.
After completing each patient, we clean our room by proper disposal of used linens, under pad, condoms, tissues and clean the probe by T-spray to prevent spreading of infectious diseases.
Ultrasound forms are being attached to each patient’s request and we carefully write our initial findings, correlating on previous exam diagnosis for the Radiologist to review and dictate on PACS system.
