Reviewed and commented on impacts to the Prime Contract due to project delays, status and progression and provided advice and input on the impact of schedule delays on fuel supply contracts.

Served as Vice-Chair of the General Electric Boiling Water Reactor Owner’s Group Fukushima Response Committee (FRC). Worked with the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) and other industry experts on developing guidance and revision of NRC Fukushima Orders that met industry economic requirements while ensuring nuclear safety during beyond design basis events.

• Drafted NEI 13-02, Rev. 1, Industry Guidance for Compliance with Order EA-13-109, working with the FRC

• Collaborated to develop and build a strong nuclear industry team to solve significant economic issues with the Fukushima response requirements and resolved regulatory and design issues to ensure long-term safety while maximizing economic viability for nuclear power plants

November 2010 – May 2013 – Engineering Department Business Analyst

Worked for the Director of Engineering on special projects. Performed investigations and root cause analyses on plant and personnel issues – determining what happened and why, and developing actions to preclude recurrence.

Reviewed, monitored and assigned corrective action items that involved Engineering discipline to resolve. Performed daily reviews of all correction action program (CAP) items raised by personnel.
