DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Make sure the ADNOC, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, GE power QHSE policy is strictly implemented.

Make sure the objective of ADNOC and DEWA zero accident policy being implemented.

Preparing and organizing the safety reports like the monthly safety report, monthly statistical reports, environmental reports, report to the PMC (ECG, HILL INTERNATIONAL, KEO and ADEHSMS requirements) and client ADNOC.

In Charge of Site Emergency Response Team.

Promote a High level of safety awareness of the Project through new employee induction training, subcontractor orientation and constant contact with Project and operations supervision.

In charge of all kinds of work permits lifting, confined space, hot work, Excavations etc.

Administer the first-aid, & prepare medical program and maintain facility and supplies, to ensure readiness at all time.

Taking part of all types of safety audits (internal, 2nd party, 3rd party).

Inspect proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment.

Participating in all types of safety meeting with Consultants, Project manager, Subcontractor staffs etc.

Strict practical implementation of Personal protective system (PPE).

Responsible for third party inspection of machinery like Tower crane, Mobile crane, Bobcats, Excavators, Dozers, Shovels and forklifts etc. present on site.

Drawing up safe operational procedures, internal health, Safety policies and strategies.

Conduct regular and irregular site inspection, hazard identification.

Recommend corrective measures.

Investigate all incidents, accidents, near miss spill and fire and recommend measures.

Conduct all types of drills like Fire drills and site evacuation drills etc.

Liaison with relevant authorities like municipalities.

Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.

Organizing and conducting safety committee meetings with all management PM CM etc.

Supervision of toolbox talks (TBT) Schedule and non-schedule.

Liaison with Consultant & Construction manager and sub-contractors with respect of planning & executing work as per safety plan & and local regulations.

Involving in the safety publicity campaigns, programs and order posters, visual aids, signs, etc.
