Position: Resident Engineer

Responsibilities:

●Monitoring the progress of construction against the program and advising steps to ensure the program is achieved, inspect the work and documentation prepared by the Contractor to ascertain that work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract documents and accepted practice.

●Provide oversight of the construction process to ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on site, and that the requirements of the construction contract are followed. reviewing the design proposals, work program, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, payments, variation orders and claims etc

●Coordination of technical disciplines, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction planning assistance

●Develops the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements.

●Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project with other Project Engineers, monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements

●Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company. Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study.

● Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Manager. Prepares technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management, performs other responsibilities associated with this position

Position: Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

●Check and measure the performed work in his line of work, record and assist the Senior Resident Engineer to display progress vs. programmed work.

●Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings within his line of work

●Supervising and monitoring construction of all project components, preparing measurements for works completed and in progress and verifying bills for payment to the contractors/suppliers

●Review requests for additional compensation and time extensions &prepare Change Orders for all ‘Additional’ and ‘New’ works.

●Advises contractor of non-conforming work or other violations of the contract requirements. Works with the contractor to identify and implement appropriate corrective action

●Support and report to the Project Director on the monitoring of the Consulting Engineer activities, the progress of works, coordination, and resolution of the site issues

●Monitor, report and provide assurance to the Project Director, that the Consulting Engineer is administering the construction contract in accordance to the Client’s expectation towards time, cost and quality& provide claims analysis support, including dispute resolution

●Manage and monitor the relevant project information and documents related to progress, issues, Non-conformities, correctives actions, reports, plans and logs from the supervision team and contractors and provide approval towards the same.
