Overview:

1. Refinery working process also insight of transportation and maintenance of instruments. 2. A small presentation was made to explain briefly about the total infrastructure of the refinery industry, it's process and safety measures taken by them.

Objectives

1. This project concentrates on optimization of delayed coking process which is a thermal cracking process for upgrading heavy petroleum residues into lighter gaseous and liquid and solid coke products. 2. The diameters of the heat exchanger is restrained in order to reduce the fuel consumption to avoid pollution. 3. A detailed study about the coker furnace and a simulation model to predict coke formation inside. 4. A number of novel concepts have been simulated to simulated to predict and improve the run length of the coker furnace.
