Piping Superintendent- responsible for all piping installation, successful communications skills with client and engineering, handled scheduling, handled safety concerns, task assignment to general foreman, facilitated equipment and materials for projects, assured all additional training for employees is executed. Coordinated updates to project managers as needed, provided information that may affect project through a chain of command. Executed the testing of piping, through critical path. Coordinated with quality control to the point of systems turnover. Managed 300 employees on the last project.

Pipe General Foreman- supervised and directed 2 or more pipe foremen, followed directives of pipe superintendent to satisfactorily installed pipes assigned in plant facility, handled any discrepancies and concerns of unforeseen obstacles that may affect safety, scheduled and reported back to chain of command. Installed large bore piping in main pipe rack, reports progress to the superintendent. Responsible for all paperwork and work sign off procedures by individuals as required. Managed multiple supervisors and employees.

Additional skills sets in this capacity: construction of a Heat Recovery Steam Generator for Florida Power and light, hydro testing heat recovery steam generators, construction of absorbent fibers units, large new construction project, installed severe service piping, plumbing and duct work installation.

Pipe Foreman- handled installation of the project piping, crane ordering, monitored scaffolding, and safety equipment insuring performance readiness, task assignment to craftsmen, trained and developed less experienced workmen, crew management (pipe fitter, helper, welder), managed major repairs to powerhouse duct system, handled time sheets to the general foreman or directly to the timekeeper, supervised crew. Turnaround Coordinator- coordinated with the clients, engineering, vendors, and specialty crafts. Met clients desired project outcome. Ordered all equipment, cranes, materials per specifications as directed by client standards to meet or beat the time schedule needed to complete the project. Successfully supervised all piping installed on a 50-day turnaround, for Glycol unit piping replacement upgrade. EDUCATION: Graduate of Stephen F. Austin high school in Houston TX. Graduated from Airco Technical Institute. Mastered - welding, blueprint reading, and mechanical drawing.
