Synopsis: This project attempts to identify the minimization of overall cost when DSM is implemented in the system for considering more than one load buses trying combinations for more than one buses. Combinations of load buses considered for DSM selected depending on the maximum cost reduction obtained. This project demonstrates the effect of DSM in if real-time shiftable loads are simulated in IEEE 24 bus system using power world simulator, Matlab and MS excel.
