SCOPE OF WORK
Multi billion dollars’ project, 47 km with 7 Grade Separated Interchanges includes cross road, pedestrian and bicycle path. Highway Structures includes bridges, flyovers, underpasses, culverts, retaining walls, pump stations, substations, drainage structures, tanks, gantries, etc. Traffic signs, road markings, intelligent traffic systems (ITS) Street Lighting and bridge underpass lighting works. Storm water and drainage system. Foul sewerage network, TSE Network, Water supply network, Utilities works includes electrical network, telephone network, utilities protection works, Landscaping, Hardscape and Irrigation works. Scope also includes:
Site clearance, site installations, traffic diversions
Demolition, removal of existing structures and existing roads
Road works, including pavement construction, kerbing, cycle way and footpath
A new freeway including all related works such as grade-separate interchanges, cross roads, Collector roads – Distributor roads, ramps, post tensioning, raft foundation, main abutment, braiding wall etc. as required and approved by the Engineers.
Highway structures including bridges, flyovers, underpasses, culverts, retaining walls, Micro Tunneling works, pump stations, substations, drainage structures, tanks, gantries, etc.
Traffic signs, road markings, and all civil works related to Intelligent Traffic System (ITS).
Street lighting and bridge underpass lighting works as required for this contract and approved by the Engineer.
Underground Utilities Network such as Sewerage, Water, Electrical, Telephone and Communication
Utilities diversion / protection works (including QP pipelines and EHV Overhead powerlines 440kv and underground diversion of 11kv and more).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct accident/incident and near miss investigation, make proper report, documentation and recommendation to avoid reoccurrence.
To ensure compliance with PWA’s objectives, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
Implement HSE pro-active measures on the project site activities
Conduct construction related HSE trainings to staff to identify site hazards during their job activities at site.
