Professional Experience

1.SCHLUMBERGER - June 1996 to May 2020

Started career in Rajahmundry (AP, India) and then Mumbai in various operations -As instrument technician working on acquisition systems under supervision & conducted modification on module to work in adverse environment adding relays in circuit to support switching circuit in backup mode without any downtime,after implementing modification field tested to confirm operational & job performed in ONGC Wells, Frequent offshore visit was conducted in order to perform preventive maintenance on tools & equipments reduce downtime & increase in tool turnover between job.

Abu Dhabi offshore, Saudi Arabia &deputed in various Gulf Countries for Both Onshore& Offshore Operations Period 2001-2009 started as instrument engineer & became senior instrument engineer & when moved to Saudi Arabia in year 2010 became General instrument engineer handled maintenance of both tools & equipments,implementing modification on down hole tools to acquire high quality real time data down hole in high temp & pressure conditions in remote locations,responsible as Field specialist to run tool down hole & maintenance of electronics & mechanical in between jobs as was impossible to send tools to base which would increase downtime .

Worked in Bottom hole Drilling Operation & Maintenance, have expertise in various drilling tools and systems

In Yemen successfully field testing of production tools (PSP,RST,Later log )at depth 20000ft cased hole down hole & zero downtime.

Experience in Rite Software for Preventive Maintenance of Tools & Equipment (Reliability control Maintenance), OP acquisition software used to log different tools in Real time at different environments different software were used for each tools to run in specific environment real time data acquired was processed & log data was entered into Rite Software which in turn would evaluate tools life or if preventive maintenance required before next job.

Hands-on expertise electronics& mechanical of all different tools in Schlumberger as tools with electromechincal parts as Production tools (PSP & GHOST) has optical probes which needs to be replaced after every run, optical probes which measures oil or Gas concentration & Spinners needs to replaced if damaged which measures Viscosity of oil specially in remote locations were service of tools need to be done between jobs..

Wire line tools MDT, XTRA (TuffTrack& Ultra) involved in base support as technical engineer performing OST (outgoing System checks) for Upcoming production cased hole & Open hole tools {after lean implementation OST(Outgoing System Test )were performed before sending tools to Field & Heat test were performed in order check efficiency of tool performance by stimulating down hole as data was acquired along with certifications of equipments was shared to clients before tool was run down hole.

As Schlumberger Transformation D&M(Drilling & Measurements) MWD Power drives, Power pack motor as Field specialist in remote locations in Saudi Arabia, run tools down hole & service tools after every job, not possible to send tools back to base due to limited time to perform jobs with ZERO Downtime.

From Period April 2019 to May2020 worked as Import / Export specialist coordinating with different segments (wireline,testing, D&M,Slickline)receiving & delivering equipment / Accounting balance sheet for Cost (Service & Customs Duty) of shipments incurred in Sea &Air Port at Basra location in Iraq..

2 .Taylor Instruments(Acquisition by Invensys) - July 1993 to June 1996

Worked at Taylor Instruments Field industrial Instruments, PLC & PID Controller in India.

Recorders, solenoids, transmitters, PID Controllers were calibrated & monitored, my role as instrument technician to check functioning of recorders transmitters & solenoids& calibrate periodically.

Major Projects & Implementations managed:

oIndia : ONGC, Cairn Energy

From period 1996 to 2000 major clients were ONGC, Cairn Energy in both onshore & Offshore

ONGC was mainly Offshore, were as Cairn energy wells were in Onshore, CMR (Combinable Magnetic resonance tool) was calibrated & field tested in ONGC Wells to check the porosity of formation.

oAbu Dhabi : ADNOC

Period from 2001 to 2003 clients in Abu Dhabi were ADNOC Both offshore&onshore

Implementation of RITE SOFTWARE to forecast tools & equipments preventive maintenance.

oSaudi Arabia : ARAMCO, Exxon Mobile, Sinopec
