• Developed a curriculum to teach children between the ages of 12 - 18 how to program robots for the 2019-2020 VEX robotics competition using C++.

• Taught the students more advanced math that could be used for robotic control theory such as implementing custom PID loops and motion profiling.

LEASIDE HIGH SCHHOL Volunteer

Sep 2016 – June 2019 Toronto, ON

• Facilitated the teaching for programming, and was a part of the schools robotics team as the chief programmer

• Developed daily plans that my team would follow to stay on track and make sure all work got done in a timely manner

• Aided the students to start using Github for version control and collaboration, so that everyone on the team could have access to the code when need be.

• Aided in the demonstration of the schools robotics club to visiting guests on days of special events.

• Worked with a team to plan executive visit and team-building exercise for 20 team members.

• Prepared weekly lessons for my students as well as take home work, and worked through code problems they had with them via zoom call to teach the students how they should debug programs

• Taught students from the ages of 6-18 how to program in their desired programming language. On many other occasions I also taught robotics.

PROJECTS

PATH FINDING VISUALIZATION Project Lead

• Developed a program that would visualize the differences between different path finding algorithms such as Dijkstra’s, A*, Greedy Best First Search, and Depth First Search.

• Used java to program the bulk of the project alongside the processing library for the visualization, and the GUI. ODOMETRY Personal project to help develop

autonomous routines for my robotics team

• Developed and implemented an algorithm (Odometry) on my robot that would take raw sensor values and output an exact position of the robot in x,y coordinates and a heading theta.

• Used the Odometry algorithm coupled with a custom program to auto-generate a path that a robot could follow accurately and precisely.
