Position: Finance and Accounting department and assisted in Investment and Benefits department.

Key Responsibilities.

Bank Account Reconciliation: going through banking and business activity as at that period, reconciling KPCRBS bank account with its financial records and information on a bank statement.

Property invoicing and Service charge entry; rent, electricity, parking fee for Crescent Business Centre and Kenpipe Gardens,

Preparation of Payment advice for members who are about to retire and have retired (pensioners)

Raising of Taxes via KRA Itax for pensioners

Investment Management through the company’s ERP system which involves the purchasing, selling, receiving coupons from matured investments in equities and the available money markets such as treasury bonds, treasury bills, corporate bonds, fixed deposits and call deposits.

Key Achievements.

Ability to use the ERP system productively

Built relationship within the firm and outside, to have the resources necessary to meet KPCRBS members’ informational needs

Provide timely and accurate information financial reports on operating entities and investments.

Key Achievement:

Key Responsibilities: Assessor:

•Oversee the scheme at USI and Ensuring all Members of the club get to undertake the programme in all Levels (Bronze, Silver & Gold) within 18Months time schedule.

•Lead all the programmes involved in the unit, Community project, Hiking Expeditions in allocated areas, Service & Skills to be acquired by the members in the Unit.

•Key role in ensuring & acquiring the medals (Silver & Gold) & certificates issued by the Head of state (H.E Uhuru Kenyatta) Behalf of the Members in State House Annually.

Planning & Budgeting:

•In charge of Preparing events (Hiking Expeditions), Skill sets, & community service programmes on behalf of the members essential to receive the awards required.

•Budget planning for events together with other scheme officials and accountability in regards to monies spent or allocated for projects to be ensured by the head of the programme (Club Head- chief Assessor) i.e. Budgets of up to Kshs 500,000 per event and up to minimum 2 events per semester, minimum 8 in a school year.

Oversight & Coordination:

•Ensure proper coordination of all club functions & all members to get record books which is essential in acquiring awards.

•Liaise with the Main Office in Upper Hill, Nairobi to ensure every member record is in place & certification is as per merit.

•Organize Meetings with club members week to week to oversee progress in terms of service allocated & handling problems where need be.

Finance:

•In charge for not only handling allocation of funds from the university, but to prepare annual budget needed according to club needs.

•Collection of funds in regards to events is also a role by the chief assessor and every cent contributed by any member through school finance is handled properly.

•Expenditure & allocation of funds in regards to events is approved & assigned by the chief assessor throughout events & accounting for every cent is done the same.
