Job responsibilities

Work rapidly without compromising quality in order to avoid consumer health risk/ product recall

Compliance with all safety standards and regulations at all times

Ensures the overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of the plant is achieved and possibly improved monthly (output)

I implement preventive maintenance to stay ahead of potential issues

Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand held tools

Troubleshoot all problems effectively and seek for a solution that is most cost effective

Performs total overhaul on the equipment when there is a need

Prepare breakdown analysis report

Prepare materials requests for the team

I supervise autonomous maintenance twice every week

Maintain proper documentation for relevant tasks

I supervise changeover from one SKU to another

Assess/test systems and suggest modifications to prevent future issues

Conducts a time base instrument calibration with a team of technicians

Log all services and escalate progress to higher authorities

Maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt

Maintains a clean and organized work environment by the implementation of 5s

Attend departmental meetings

Ensure project time line is met and project stays within budget

Ensures kaizen implementation and reporting

Prepare corrective and preventive action reports

A pioneer of the Lipton single chamber Tea production in Ghana

Travelled to Dubai for training.

Worked with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) from different companies in Germany Italy, Malaysia and Singapore during plant installation and commissioning

With one process line in 2012, the business has grown from 1 process line to 5 lines with a daily capacity of 4.5 tons now.

From 2016 till now, I have trained six fresh graduates to become competent on the job field and are currently working on the plant.

A 6th machine with new production technology has been installed and commissioned, product will be outdoor soon.
