KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitored and checked operations of electrical devices such mill motors(Slip ring motor rated at 6500KW), startup alarms, belt rip, pull-wire switches and belt drift for compliance with safety protocols and organization standard.
Carried out preventative and corrective maintenance (in accordance with STP/SOP) on electrical circuits and machinery.
Electrical Motor Maintenance(3 phase motor). Thus bearing replacement, crane brake adjustment, motor lubrication and termination checks and inspections.
Troubleshot and maintained electrical work on low and High voltage equipments including mill motor (11KV), underdrainage pumps and sump pumps.
Maintenance on Liquid resistance starter, thus topping up the electrolyte, changing of electrodes and general inspections.
