1992-1998 Prepared and implemented Health and Safety plans for LANL’s Environmental Restoration Program. Duties also included providing Health Physics and ES&H oversight during field operations in support of the Environmental Restoration Program at LANL. In addition, served as on-site lead Site Safety Officer (SSO)/RCT supporting the Environmental Restoration deep drilling project to install the regional aquifer well R-9 and R-12.

D&D Activities

2003-2005 Provided Health Physics and general ES&H oversight for numerous D&D projects, including the Omega West Reactor (OWR), the High Pressure Tritium Laboratory (HPTL) at TA-33

2003 Provided Health Physics support for the TA-21 TSTA tritium glove box removal project

2004 Provided Health Physics and ES&H oversight and support to secure a non-waste path in the weapons program for 2.2 tons of depleted uranium, allowing LANL to claim a significant waste avoidance

2004 Provided key input and oversight and helped facilitate removal and packaging of highly activated parts from the OWR
