Career Experience
Metro by T-Mobile Lubbock, TX Aug 2018 to Dec 2020
I was the sales manager for multiple stores in Lubbock where I gained experience in training employees the core measures of our company and about promotions, plans, and devices that we carried out in our stores. I was responsible for opening and closing of the store and for dealing with the deposits and financials for each store. I also had weekly meetings and weekly reports that I had to email all upper managers and included our KPIs for the month goals, and I was in charge of making a plan on how my store could achieve those goals.
Doctors Hospital at Renaissance Edinburg, TX Jan 2009 to Aug 2012
I worked in the ICU where I weaned patients from mechanical ventilation after open heart surgery. I also spent time in all areas of the hospital including E.R., rehabilitation center, pediatrics, and cardiac care units.
Covenant Medical Center Lubbock, TX Jan 2013 to Jan 2014
I worked every other weekend, and was on call every weekend, working all floors where a respiratory therapist was needed.
Lynn County Hospital District Tahoka, TX Jan 2014 to Jan 2015
I was in charge of the business/clinical side of the Respiratory department. I brought in 6 figures of revenue to the hospital. I also provided 5 new services to the hospital, including a ventilator, which was the only ventilator ever used in the hospital; therefore, I had to teach nurses how to operate it. Lastly, I updated the Respiratory Policy & Procedures Manual by adding numerous methods and codes, which the hospital did not already have established.
