WORK EXPERIENCE

November 2018 to Present Position: Tool & Die Engineer Autokiniton (Tower Automotive) Responsibilities are: Tool & Die management consisting of new product launch 801 West 15th Street support such as the Ford Explorer U625 program consisting of 39 new dies. Die Auburn, IN46706 design reviews and approval sign offs. Die buyoffs at suppliers, bringing dies in house for homeline approvals, dynamic and static reviews of all tooling. Working with plant and corporate QC engineers to resolve any dimensional, form, fit, and function issues. Tracking die open issues and working with suppliers to insure all open issues are resolved. Actively support daily production with troubleshooting and keeping dies in the press running. Plant responsible for addressing and quoting all ECNs, Work with production scheduling to plan bank builds for ECs, and coordinating timing for such. Responsible for meeting cost save objectives thru SPM increases, die up times, as well as material savings. Work closely with the Toolroom to make die repairs and upgrades. Training of new personnel. Also managed the new Ford P702 Raptor program with 14 new dies. Currently following the Rivian tooling being brought in house. February 2017 to July 2018: Position: Project Manager JCR Automation Responsibilities were: Project Management consisting of leading project kick off New Haven, IN 46774 meetings, timelines, progress updates, customer interface. Wrote PO’s for outside services, processing and inspection of in house tooling. Organizing machined and purchased parts into sub assemblies for the equipment build team. Procurred try out material from customers for each specific job. August 2012 to July 2016: Position: Program Manager Orick Stamping Responsibilities were: Program & Tooling Management. Lead role for continuous 614 Kiracofe Avenue improvement projects, tool sourcing, design reviews and approvals for dies and Elida, OH 45807 weld fixtures. Tool tracking and reporting out to customers. Responsible for bringing in new tooling and ensuring process & rate capabilities at tool source as well as in house. Lead role for all APQP activities. Served as the customer point of contact for all new program launches as well as engineering changes. Heavily involved in troubleshooting manufacturing issues with press lines and weld cells. January 2011 to December 2011: Position: Program Manager Multimatic Responsibilities were: All aspects of program management including quoting, 201 RE Jones Road vendor selection, managing timelines, budgets, and inventory for build events Butler, IN 46721 Plant lead for tooling reviews and approvals for dies and weld fixtures, tooling buy offs for new tooling builds as well as engineering changes, wrote POs and approved vendor invoices. Lead role for APQP activities for assigned programs. Worked with the manufacturing team to resolve manufacturing and process issues.

August 2005 to January 2011: Position: Supplier Tooling Manager, Purchasing and Logistics Group Navistar ( International Truck ) Responsibilities were: Vendor selection processes for new products. Vendor quote 2911 Meyer Road review, negotiation, and approval for stamping dies, assembly lines, and misc. Fort Wayne, IN 46803 tooling. Integral member of Purchasing & Logistics Team to successfully commission over $30M worth of dies and assembly equipment to support the launch of Navistar’s latest flagship truck, the “Prostar”. Other responsibilities included: maintaining asset records for approximately 40 suppliers, on site tooling inventory audits, approving tooling scrap requests, approving tooling invoices, and resourcing major product lines within the supply base. I also stayed very active in troubleshooting issues at many suppliers as needed. May 1984 to August 2005 Worked my way up thru several tool & die shops in the Fort Wayne area as a die engineer, die design supervisor, die project manager, die department manager. EDUCATION
