C A R E E R H I G H L I G H T S

Spearheaded the commissioning of the Base Oil Unit (BOU) at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Refining. It included identifying the requirement of laboratory infrastructure and instruments, procurement, allotment of manpower, attending contractor meetings and coordination with Production Planning and Process Engineering for product specification and sampling schedules.

Provided suggestion and laboratory blending data to reduce the limits of Research Octane Number (RON) of gasoline products for Multi- function pipeline transfers at ADNOC Refining resulting in reduction of Quality Give Away (QGA) and increasing profit.

Acted as laboratory focal point during the plant design modification of BOU at ADNOC refining for production of 8cSt to meet international market demands and at Nyara Energy Limited, during the modification of Diesel Hydrodesulfurization (DHDS) unit to meet BS-III and BS-IV sulfur specification.

Initiated the implementation of Statistical Quality Control (SQC) charts at ADNOC Refining to ensure the optimum accuracy of the reported results.

Attended 4 external customer complaints regarding product quality. It included visiting the customer testing facility as well as independent third party laboratories.

Key contributor in documentation, implementation and auditing of Quality Management System (QMS) at ADNOC Refining and Nyara Energy Limited as well as British Safety Council (BSC) audit at Nyara Energy Limited.
