2/2/15 to 8/31/15 Customer Service: Sales Associate Hunting and Fishing department and Greeting customers (Part time).
Responsibilities: Greet customers as they arrive and see if they need assistance. Check in returned items. Help people with that needs wheelchair assistance. I also helped fellow associates load purchased item that were too big to load by one person.
When I worked in the Hunting and Fishing department. I checked with the M.O.D. and the lead associate to see what the daily assignment was. When I would greet a customer I would ask if they needed any assistance. I would take them to the product or I would give them information on the item if asked. I would also watch for theft as well. I stocked items and put them on the shelves and pegs and zoned our area. Keeping our department clean and organized. Plus I also help other co-workers as needed in our department or not. I was also taking classes on computer to learn more about the products we sell so I could give information to the customer as needed. Water Superintendent
Responsibilities: As water superintendent I was responsible for the purity of the drinking water and make sure the pumps were in working order. I also made sure that the sewer system was operating properly. My duties also included patching pot holes, operating the sewer jet, working on sewer lines, grading alley ways, trimming trees, running and maintaining the equipment. I also attended the city council meetings.

Shipping and receiving plus Material handler Responsibilities: As a shipper and receiver I unloaded chemicals and products into tanks at the plants tank farm. These consisted of methanol, sodium methoxide citric acid, sodium hydroxide and animal fat. I was promoted to material handler and my responsibilities were to unload products with a forklift into the plant. These consisted of silica sand and parts. Other responsibilities included blowing down the boiler, running water test on the water from the boiler and water softener. I also helped with repairs on changing out valves, clearing pipe lines and helping with the regular repairs during operation.

Responsibilities: Performed test on tubing and casing for various flaws plus took inventory of this stock. Loaded and unloaded the casing and tubing off of tractor trailers. During 1/2005 I assumed the position of maintaining the pumping units in the field. This included the inspection and reporting of the pumping unit working order. We made sure they were running properly. During maintaining we greased the unit, fixing any lines that were broke. Changed the oil in the engine and inspected the gear box plus filtering the oil if needed.

Responsibilities: Measure and record on the computer the produced field gases and fluids. Maintain pumping units monthly and optimize the production of the gas wells. Maintained plunger lifts and field compressors for optimal gas production. Also report any equipment including compressors that you see that may need to have work performed on it. Also keep the equipment clean of excess oil and grease and keep the lease free of weeds. Plus have good relations with the lease owners.

Engineering Technician Senior (Chief Technician on twelve construction projects)
Responsibilities: Plan and supervise the activities of technicians performing inspection duties to insure compliance with the plans, standard procedures and special provisions. Take inventory and record material incoming and placement on the project. Recommend and make decisions on minor necessary changes in construction, safety measures and signing. Inspection of construction projects including, bridge construction and asphalt pavement lay down. Oversee the quality control and assurance of asphalt projects, inspection of the asphalt plant operation, bituminous seal and bituminous crack seal. Inspected the reconstruction of three concrete bridge and one temporary steel bridge, rehabilitation of a rest area and building plus its water line and pump installation. Have also inspected the placement of new curb and gutter, done the surveying of right of way, surveyed the centerline throughout numerous projects and have shot the elevations of bridges and ditch slopes. As the chief technician on the project I study the contract, check the contract quantities, check the plans and specifications map plus made sure the certifications of material are in compliance with our specifications and attend preconstruction meetings.
Assistant Technician on (14+) construction projects
Types of projects are the same as above but with asphalt testing and the inspection of the lay down of asphalt. I have ran test on concrete and inspected the lay down of concrete pavement, inspected the construction of concrete box culverts and installation of pre-fab culverts. Inspected milling, cold recycle and dirt work with the use of fly ash in the cold recycle and dirt work, Inspection of Installation of silt fence, seeding and drilling of mulch for ditches.
Summary of responsibilities of a project:
Quality assurance testing of asphalt in a laboratory, inspect asphalt and concrete lay down visually and by test performed, run various types of quality and assurance test, check contract quantities and plan design, read plans and blue prints, record field documentation in field books and computers, figure pay estimates and enter them in the computer, calculate asphalt yields, run soil tests, check for soil erosion, inspect traffic control and do the final paper work of a project on computer.
OTHER SKILLS
I have also developed skills in a variety of computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word, Auto Cad and (CMS) KDOT contract material system program. I have also written a few programs in Microsoft Excel to help our people calculate quantities, keep track of random testing, keep track of test results and plotting these results of graphs.
Shop experience includes fabrication work, welding and machining. I have helped overhaul engines on two cars. I do all the maintenance work on my house, including plumbing, carpentry work and electrical.
