• Industrial visit at KUDANKULAM Nuclear Power plant for one day. Gained about how to generate nuclear power.

• Industrial visit at ENNORE THERMAL POWER STATION for one day. Gained knowledge about coal storage, transmission and generation of electricity. And had exposures to boiler and turbine.

• Industrial visit . KUNDA HYDROELECTRIC POWERPLANT for 1 day. Gained Knowledge about how to get electric power from hydrolhydrolic energy.

WORKSHOPS ATTENDED:

• Attended solar workshop at Panimalar Engineering College. Learned about how to design solar panel and how to generate electricity MINI PROJECT:

• “ELECTRONIC EYE CONTROLLED SECURITY SYSTEM”,

objective Of this project is to monitor the door lock if any disturbance is occur to alert by the alarm now a days electronic eye controller mostly used most of the people house.

MAIN PROJECT:

• “CAPACITOR LESS D-STATCOM FOR REACTIVE POWER

COMPENSATION”,objective of this project is to store the electric power by using inductor replacing by capacitor and mitigating sag voltage value and reducing harmonics in the waveform. ACHIEVEMENT:

• Paper presentation on LOU CONVERTER.

• General proficiency award on 10 th and 12 th std. EXTRA CARRICULARS:

• Runner up in ko-ko (college Sports day).

• Runner up in 400 metre Relay (college sports day).

• Participated in college day program.

• Project work on Electronic eye controlled security system.

• Project work on Capacitor less D-Statcom for reactive power compensation.
