Superintendent

Peek Renovations - Austin, TX August 2021 - Present Responsible for the daily operation and management of subcontractors working in each apart- ment. Maintaining safety and quality to ensure each unit is completed on time and within bud- get. Establish and maintain relationships with contractors/vendors/suppliers throughout the market. Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifi- cations and related documents. Perform all duties associated with the superintendent role. Butler Contractors - Bastrop, TX - August 2020 - February 2021 Responsible for leading daily meetings with the team to set expectations for the day. This in- cludes reviewing contracts, project photos, plans and any other information the team will need to compete the scope for that project/s. Coordinate all field personnel and assign tasks according to priority and skill level of crew member. Communicate to the team the job schedule, and monitor attendance, progress and production of crew to ensure daily targets are met. Lead the layout of each project. Submits daily reports and QA/QC reports of each completed project. Handle each project closeout with customer by collecting payment and performing walk-through to ensure customer is satisfied with project. Weekly man hour reporting. Coordinate with facility for all required shutdowns and crane lifts due to occupied space. Coordinate chilled water shutdown, electrical and natural gas shutdowns for weekend work to not disturb facility. Maintain daily re- ports, job site safety inspections, critical crane plans. Meet with inspectors weekly to discuss week- ly progress and ensure that all work was installed to code and specifications. Texas Facility Commission- Deferred Maintenance 18-19, Austin Texas- $15M Replacement of 80 water heat source pumps, 12 Air handler units, and 3 roof top units. Coordi- nate all construction activities between user and subcontractors. Ensure all occupied spaces are cleared and cleaned out for contractors to perform their scope. Maintain daily reports, job site safety inspections, critical crane plans. Meet with inspectors weekly to discuss weekly progress and ensure that all work was installed to code and specifications. St. Johns Pleasant Valley Expansion Hospital, Camarillo CA- $70M Maintain inspection requests that come from all subcontractors to ensure that they are delivered to the OSHPD IOR team on time and complete. As lead QA confirm that all inspections are ready by field-verifying that sub-contractor work is installed per the plan and the building code prior to inspection. Create and maintain all daily reports, maintain all foreman meeting minutes and distribute, coordinate with sub-contractors of daily tasks, collaborate site logistics with fellow project superintendents, held weekly safety stand downs for the job site.
