Details Of Experience 1-Neutron physics & Reactor Instrumentation were covered during the M.Sc. course, where: Time of – Flight, Scattering of Thermal neutrons and flux density in various directions experiments were carried out together with Reactivity measurements of experimental 100 KW reactor of University of London . Elementary particle physics course was given also. 2. During the research for the PH.D. Degree, γ-ray spectroscopy employing Ge And Ge (Li) detectors was the main field of interest γ –γ coincidence utilizing Ge (Li) – Ge(Li) detectors and Dual Parameter Energy – Time Spectroscopy for building up 5

the decay schemes of many nuclei. The β– γ coincidence using Plastic – Ge (Li) detectors were used to measure lifetimes of nuclear states in Nano- second range. Many theoretical nuclear models were discussed.

3. Preparation of radioisotopes using the (n, γ) reaction by utilizing the facilities of the University of London Reactor at Ascot was also experienced. Nuclear electronics (theory &devise)were studied (1982-1984)

4. Nuclear Instrumentation & Radiation physics (Detection & Measurements) course was taught in Faculty of Nuclear Eng. Al-Fateh University Tripoli, Libya,1983. During the course α, β

& γ - ray spectroscopy was covered using: NaI (Tl), Geiger, Proportional, Ge (Li), Si(Li) & surface barrier detectors. 5. Biophysics and Nuclear Dosimetry course was given to medical, Biological and natural science students, university of Constantine, Algeria, 1984.

6. Courses Taught In Al-Fateh University From 1985 Till 2001: Physics For Premed Students, Mechanics, Properties Of Matter, Waves, Sound & Light, Heat and Thermodynamics, Atomic Physics, Nuclear Physics, Elective Course For M.Sc. Degree (Advanced Nuclear Physics) .
