An opportunity arose to join in nourishing a new baby Ashwood Guest House & Spa as a Restaurant Manager, where I had to recruit and train my own team with the Operation Manager from scratch which together in less than a year we were awarded 5 star by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and won the MEC`s Lilizela leadership award. I have learned to have an excellent level of commercial awareness, build and maintain relationships with internal and external guests, being responsible for highlighting short/medium/long-term issues and formulating solutions.

I later joined the YUM Equity Family, KFC, as a Shift Supervisor, developed to an Assistant Restaurant Manager within a year, where I learned running great restaurants, reaching all targets and passing all Restaurants Operations Compliance Checks Audits, Training and developing my Team, Shift planning, Leading a shift, Handling Complaints and winning back customers, and not limited to Stock control.
