Plan and purchase production components- aerosol and brush cans, labels, and bulk chemicals, by analyzing MRP and forecast reports to determine optimal order quantity and date required.
Purchase raw bulk chemicals daily from most cost-effective vendor at that time.
Perform analysis of milling scheduling usage for raw bulk chemicals within 24 to 48 hours to determine placement of purchase orders to vendors.
Review daily exception messages generated by SAP and maintain the optimization process for raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain vendor relationships by following delivery dates, reconciling invoicing issues, and addressing quality issues until resolved.
Support product-to-market process by working with Sourcing, Marketing, Finance, as well as external vendors to ensure on-time launch of new products. Tasks include set-up of artwork, information records, source lists, and costing.
