Duration: January 2019 to Present

Responsibilities:

Conducting safety induction & daily tool box talk for all worker’s & staff who are going on site.

Prepare review daily safety reports.

Prepare Accident prevention plan & Activity hazard analysis as per EM385 1-1.

Review project-specific Safety measures Monitor the environmental activities such as dust control, noise level etc.

Inspect and ensure that all works are in line with Project Specific HSE Plan.

Arrange safety meetings, preparatory with consultant.& with the sub-contractor for further activities in site.

Reviewing & implementing consultants concerns on health & safety.

Notifying the Supervisors and workers for taking immediate corrective measures to eliminate hazards.

Position: Sr. Safety officer.

Duration: December 2016 to December 2018.

Responsibilities:

Safety talk (Tool Box Meeting) is conducted before they start the work at least 5 to 15 minutes.

Daily monitoring for the workers at the job site area to ensure that they maintain their respective area tidy and clean (housekeeping) for at least 10 to 20 minutes before knock off time in every day.

Check and inspect power, electrical and mechanical tools etc. used by the workers at the job site to secure in good conditions to avoid any untoward accident happen while commencing their job.

Make employees able to understand the safety sings and color code to eliminate the hazards.

Monitor the environmental activities such as dust control, noise level etc.

Inspect and ensure that all works are in line with Project Specific HSE Plan.

Maintained good housekeeping in workplace at all time.

Ensure that Work Permits are there in place (if needed) before the start of work and giving training before commencing the job.

Monitor all workers to ensure proper safety outfit, such as safety belt, safety shoes, helmet, safety glass, eye goggles, earplug and mask.

Position: HSE/Sr. safety officer

Responsibilities:

Conducting training, meetings and “TOOL BOX” talks.

Ensure that storage/handling of Chemicals is as per COSHH regulations

Preparation and conducting training for all company and contractors staff.

Inspection of safety precaution of signboard and safety tape to avoid accident. Always remember the company’s policy, which is to target zero accident.

Inspect the heavy equipment’s,(Visual Inspection) cranes, backhoe, loader, shovel, forklift and bobcat. Monitoring the first aid clinic and ambulance.

Position: HSE/Safety officer

Duration: Oct 2013- Nov 2015.

Responsibilities:

Fire prevention of all site activities, testing of smoke and heat detectors, conducting drills. Checkup Breathing Apparatuses sets.

Maintain a checklist for entrance of personals, equipment and vehicles to the job site to make sure that all personals are evacuated in case of emergency evacuation.

Investigation of accident and preparation of incident and reports.

Safety talk (Tool Box Meeting) is conducted before they start the work at least 5 to 15 minutes.

Daily checklist monitoring for the cranes as per company procedure to avoid accidents during operation and secure that the surroundings well cordoned and barricaded thereof.

Check the permits, monitor, and check that all excavations particularly more than 1.25 deep has been properly cordoned, barricaded or barriers installed of the protection of the personnel and vehicles.

Daily monitor for the workers to ensure that they are comply the safety rules and regulations and taking disciplinary action as per company procedures in case of violations.

Inspect and monitor all lifting activities before and during the lifting process and checking the plan.

Make an HSE report on a daily basis about the observations and unsafe conditions and recommending remedial actions.

Weekly & monthly report writing on all health and safety issues.

Make sure that workers are properly equipped for the job and also ensured that all tools and safety related equipment’s are in good condition which is being used..
