Assistant Maintenance Manager

Manages a team of 18 reports; includes Maintenance Supervisor(s), Programmer, Maintenance Planner, Electrical Supervisor, PM Technicians, and Maintenance Technicians.

Facility encompasses 24 acres, 1,000,000 Sq Ft of operations and has a revenue stream of $36 Million per year.

Primary duties include leading the planning and implementation of projects, facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.

Defines project tasks and resource requirements; develops full-scale project plans; manages budgets and P&L.

Provides direction and support to maintenance teams; constantly monitors and reports on progress of repairs to all stakeholders.

Traveled across Asia observing and studying different extrusion processes; provided back a report on the equipment that was later purchased and installed in the facility- led the installation project in the facility.

Plant was new and part of a start-up; there were no procedures available, assisted management in developing the troubleshooting guides, PM schedule, and laying out the parts warehouse.

Worked with operations to develop an equipment priority list as well as shut down procedures and checklists for the maintenance team.

Trained all shift maintenance technicians and certified them prior to releasing them as validated personnel.
