I currently own and operated a successful family home child care & preschool. This is my second childcare business. I owned my first business for seven years (2003-2011), in my hometown I meet all state all licensing requirements including the Washington Administrative Code and Whatcom County Ordinances. I take a minimum of ten hours of STARS training and certification classes each year. I provided developmentally appropriate practices in child education and experience each day. During my employment at Fred Meyer, I had the opportunity to work with customers, distributers and associates. I went into a management program and was cashier trained soon after being employed the first time. During my management career, I supervised, was part of the hiring team, opened a new location, and was the demolition supervisor for the shoe department remodel project for all of Washington State.

I was re-hired as a seasonal employee in 2014-2015, for the apparel department. I worked evenings as the Night Time Person In Charge 3-5 nights a week.
