Support the overall product creation process including providing input to business cases. Engage all cross-functional teams within Route One’s owners and stakeholders with a heavy focus on analysis and written and verbal communication.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

•Support the definition, development, and delivery of the product following the Route One software lifecycle process. Currently using Agile Waterfall methodology, converting to Agile Scrum and/or Agile SDLC.

•Assist with business requirements analysis and definition in coordination with key customers and both internal and external stakeholders.

•Translate dealer and finance source needs into clearly defined and detailed software product requirements; identify and resolve issues.

•Track status of all business issues, risk mitigation, and achievement of project objectives across organization.

•Coordinate, facilitate, and conduct regular project reviews with IT development, ensuring that the product will ultimately meet business requirements.

•Provide analysis and support for the financial aspects of product development.

•Support dealer and finance source sales efforts as needed for assigned projects (including creation of sales materials and delivery of presentations).

•Create documentation and reporting for various projects as needed, be able to own and complete various assigned projects through completion.

•Participate in production support and troubleshooting from a product perspective.

•Provide all support to the Delivery lead from Start to finish of the project.

•Develop first work plan and project setup

•Schedule/conduct pre-project / estimate review and complete hand-off to the delivery lead

•CPS (corporate project services) schedules a master schedule and staffing plan meeting with dl and pc (if known)

•Build each phase of the work plan(s), as needed, using SDLC methodology and following the Project Roadmap developed by BCBSM Corporate Project Services.

•Submit change control as needed when and if the scope, milestone dates or dollars needed adjusting.

•Acquire all necessary approvals per the project roadmap for all change controls and BRD updates.

•Use Team Client and Delivery Lead to determine the resources assigned to the project. Length of time, % of time on the project and project role.

•Identify Core Team, Business Team, Executive oversight

•Add all team members to the project work plan and send out assignments.

•Contact the business lead (BL) – Keep BL up to date at the same pace as the Delivery Lead (DL). It is imperative that the Business is satisfied with the tracking of the project so all dates, dollars are met. Also, in case of an audit all information is transparent.

•Contact information security (ensure that there is zero impact to Security Controls, if there are they need to be identified asap and added to the project plan. If the control was not considered as a part of the initial budget that will need to be quoted out and presented to the Business Lead.
