Functional Roles and Responsibilities:-
Assist sales personnel in locating correct merchandise in the stock room.
Prepare stock when new deliveries arrive, unpacking, bar coding, labeling, and etc. according to the company procedures and standards. Give feedback to Managers of any discrepancies.
Ensure that merchandise is located in correct areas as stored in an appropriate manner.
Enter details of merchandise and relevant data deliveries into relevant software programs.
Ensure that merchandise is stored undamaged.
Ensure security procedures are carried out when moving merchandise from the stock room.
Minimize stock loss through regular and frequent stock counts. Feedback to Managers of any discrepancies.
Manage and re-arrange storage space according to requirements. Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are being followed.
Prepare garments for sales and promotions (alarms, re-labeling, pricing, etc.)
Assists in the preparation merchandise display in the store. Pass on information about the new arrivals, sold out stock, repetitions, merchandising rail etc.
Opens the store before start of the morning shift/work overnight shifts when required.
Ensure that the stock room is kept up to the merchandising standard. Assist in restocking the sections along with the sales staff.
Action E-Commerce orders as priority.
Action and assist in the check preparation of outdoor sales.
Action and assist in the check preparation of press loans.
Ensure fire exits and loading areas are kept clear at all time.
Work cohesively with sales staff to ensure the visibility of stock is clear and coordinated. All team members are accountable for this.
Quality control check on new delivery (report damages within 24 hours from receiving)
Perform replenishment report on daily basis.
Manage customer reservation and ensure reservation process is followed and items are returned to stockroom as per company guidelines
Report and follow up on the store damages to merchandising department.
Liaise with merchandising on carryovers, consignment, and price changes.
Weekly count of packaging materials report to DIP every Saturday, Ensure packaging materials stock at maximum level.
