An artistic Business and Hospitality Manager / Events Management / Guesthouse Administrator with a fine eye to detail and enjoy the beautiful things in life.
My Experience in events was with The Flower Cottage in Stellenbosch. I has the owners right hand and worked very closely with her, including all procedures, planning, delegation, ordering, time management, preparation, brainstorming ideas, problem solving, dealing with customers, attending to complaints and resolving them, meetings with suppliers, clean ups afterwards and very important, executing of plan.
I have a knack for sales including up-selling, stays calm in stressful situations, being organised and planning ahead.
Who studied and completed the following: 1 year Jewellery Design, a 3 year course in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a part time course for Junior Certified Bookkeeper.
I am knowledgeable and comfortable using different computer software (NightsBridge, Pilot and Pastel) in the working environment. I am a very quick learner and should have no problem understanding a different program.
As part of the Mosselbay community, I have been helping out at a soup kitchen in Groot-Brak and worked with a group called “Gasvryheidgroep” to generate income to assist the church during the lockdown as a result of COVID-19.
Im also the newest member of the outeniqua Bowling Club and looking forward learning more of the sport.
My experience and skills have prepared me for any role in the hospitality industry or any other industry where managerial, organisational, events, marketing, sales and good people skills are needed.
I enjoy a wide range of past times including gardening, being creative, loves photography and it is therefore not surprising that I received an A for Art Practical in Matric.
I am always willing to take on a challenge, learn new things and no task is too big.
