To respond courteously to guest’s requests, play a part in running the reception desk and help the general manager in running a smooth room booking service, To receive and register guests as they arrive. To control advance booking and reservations. Has to receive mails and direct them to the guests in the hotel. Has the duty to receive the payment for accommodation and allocate the rooms to the clients.
The duty is to complete the guest bills properly. Has to do the storage of records and handle the requests of the clients as well such as providing extra beddings or offering a certain kind of food. Responsible for safe keeping of client valuables.
