PROJECT TITLE : BOOST CONVERTER BASED POWER FACTOR CORRECTION FOR SINGLE PHASE RECTIFIER USING FUZZY LOGIC CONTROL .
Summary:- The quality of currents absorbed from the utility line by electronic equipment is increasing due to various reasons. Low power factor reduces the power available from the grid PFC control is based on boost converter operating at continuous conduction mode. The power factor of the system must be maintained close to unity .
EXISTING SYSTEM
The bridgeless boost PFC rectifiers which can achieve higher efficiency by reducing the number of power components in the line current path.
I n these boost bridgeless PFC rectifiers, the most practical and potential topologies are the dual-boost bridgeless PFC rectifier (DBBL PFC) shown and the back-to-back bridgeless PFC rectifier (BTBBL PFC) shown, since both of them have lower common-mode (cm) noise interference and better reliability compared with the others. PROPOSED SYSTEM
Conventional factor boost power correction (PFC) converter is only suitable for two-stage power conversion system due to its high output voltage.
The proposed converter can achieve unity power factor and low input current ripple in universal-input applications.
A fuzzy logic controller is based on a set of rules, which decides the final control action.
ADVANTAGE
The power factor of the system must be maintained close to unity to maximize the active power drawn from the supply mains.
Improves the efficiency and reliability of the converter.
Professional Strength
Can be able to work individually and also in a team.
Willing to be a learner and an implementer.
Positive Thinking.
Good Interpersonal relationship.
