Metcorp - AVS(April to September 2014 - CTS)

AVS (Annuity valuation System) is an application of METLIFE insurance. It is an existing system which mainly supports the business team in providing different kind of analysis and generating the report. As per the US Govt. regulations, an insurance company has to provide the report of their Financial Reserve and projection of upcoming years. AVS system analyzes all the features of the policies (for each policy holder) and calculates the amount of reserve required to take care of the upcoming maturities or any other settlement due to death or accident or natural disaster etc. AVS system provides different reports in different formats depending on the state (States in USA e.g. NJ, OH etc). The Business team uses these reports to provide the required details to the financial departments of different US states.

AVS was an existing application of Metlife Corp. We were enhancing on product migration feature and some new state report generation. For the corporate policy holders if their company decides to switch to a different policy, this task was being done by the support team to change in the back end. AVS application was being enhanced to have this feature inbuild so that the business team can do it thru AVS.

GRMS (Global risk Management System) is an application of AMEX Credit Services. It is an existing system which derives various risk involved in credit card portfolio for various markets. The main purpose of GRMS is to maintain data and derive decision logic for customers credit score and also it is the data repository for Credit Servicing Platform GRMS is an existing application. As per some new requirements, We are changing the Database by adding some new fields and enhancing the application accordingly. We are also working on some new routine jobs (daily or monthly), to update the customer details in database. Along with development we also provide the complete support while the database is being corrupted and providing complete analysis on the junk values or job failure reason and come up with solutions.

Project Amex - ARC(Jan 2011 to September 2012 )

ARC (Advanced Risk Capabilities) is an application of AMEX credit card. It is an existing system which derives various risk involved in credit card portfolio for various Markets and Geographic Regions depending on financial condition (of the market or Region).

ARC derives credit card approval logic depending on the Credit history of the customer. It acts as a calculator for GRMS system by providing the credit score logic into it. ARC has the intelligent logic to analyze the market condition and calculate the Credit limit, bonus points or the interest rate for each customer.

After calculating various assessment scores ARC sends it in the form SAS format for some statistical analysis at business end. It also sends the data to GRMS system which updates the database.
