I was reporting to the Project Manger (Administration & Coordination)

The detail administrational duties which were directly under my control & responsibility are as follows:

Functions as an Administrator-Supervisor (2003-2010):

Provide a peaceful environment to live in, rest and sleep for all the residential Staff.

Implement of Hostel rules & regulations issued and directed by the Coordinator-Administrator-Project Manager.

Report unusual occurrence in the hostel.

Maintain visitors register.

Maintains the attendance of the Staff.

Performs hygiene evaluation rounds every day.

Records and report the hygiene evaluation rounds every week to the Project Manager.

Check the working status of all utilities given to the Staff like Washing machine, Iron box, AC, Uniforms etc.

Maintains the inventory register on a regular basis and prepare a report every month for the administration.

Monitor the Catering. Sufficient Quantity available & whether it is on time. If not, arrange alternative solution.

Monitor transportation vehicles for the On-duty Staff to various outside Clinics and Hospitals and their return for timely shifts.

Guiding all the Newly Joining Staff from their arrival from other Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, etc to Kuwait. Receive them & interact with these different nationals till the end of their contract and departure back to their respective country.

Make sure that the new arrivals from other nation receive their civil ID, uniform, cap and shoes before they go for orientation.

Functions of the housekeeper of the camp and ensure that the premises are kept neat and tidy.

Carries out clearance formalities for inmates proceeding on leave-resignations-terminations and collect, verify all items issued are in good condition or not before giving the clearance Certificates.

Issue sick leave paper to the needy in co-ordination with the concern supervisor and arranging a replacement for the sick person.

Preparation of OT paper on daily basis and sending it at the end of each month for calculating salary.

Isolation room prepared and kept ready at any time if in any case of chicken pox, TB and H1N1 reported.

Maintains out pass register and attend telephone calls.

Keep the supervising authority informed if any inspection activities undertaken by officials of Ministry of Social Affairs.
