Procurement Engineer
Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing
Negotiate with suppliers on lead -time, cost & quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality
Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product
Timely procurement with proper quotation on time for all indents as per site requirements
Preparation of purchase requests & purchase orders /work orders
Responsible for the ordering of materials supplies and follow up with vendors to ensure that timely delivery and solve material related difficulties including supply quantity delivery at site
Co-ordinate with site team for cost savings projects
Coordinate with vendor on continuously quality improvement
Train team on effective procurement process and strategy Quantity Surveying
Reviewing the construction drawings (Architectural & Structural)
Preparing estimation & bbs from drawings
Preparation of payment certifications of bills & invoices from vendors, sub- contractors and suppliers
certifying weekly contractors and subcontractors’ bills including NMR labour payments
Monitoring NMR cost with in budget
Ensure the costing as per the budget
Reconciliation of concrete /steel/cement with the bill
Comparison of budgeted cost vs billing vs expenditure
Preparation of job cost report for every individual sites
Preparation of R.A. Bills and getting approval from clients
Liase with clients and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
Co-ordinate with sub-contractor for smooth flow of work Projects Handled:
