Alarm and CCTV Installer

Working in a team environment of two to three people in commercial buildings my responsibilities included but were not limited to pulling CAT-5 wire and terminating all ends for connections to I.P. cameras and systems. Pulling different gauge low voltage wire through the upper steel of commercial buildings to create circuits for fire alarm devices and intrusion devices. Installing all fire warning devices, programming and installing indoor and outdoor cameras and installing intrusion devices such as door contacts, safe contacts and keypads. Meat Clerk/Meat Cutter

The Meat Clerk is responsible for the following ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Customer service - They must greet the customers and respond to their questions and requests in a courteous and helpful way. Stocking - They must stock the freezer with boxes of various meats and display cases with lunchmeats, chickens, etc. This involves unloading meat from the delivery truck onto a cart and moving it to the freezer and display area. They may be required to lift boxes of product weighing as much as 95 lbs. from as low as floor level to as high as shoulder level.

Set meat counter - They must set the meat counter with the various cut meats and other products. They must know how to properly handle and rotate the meat to prevent spoilage, contamination, and to comply with sanitation requirements. Prepare customer orders - They must know the proper way to weigh and wrap the product and attach the proper label.

Meat Cutter

Meat cutters are responsible for ensuring the meat cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality meat products for customers. They receive, stock, cut, grind, wrap, weigh, price, and attractively merchandise meat department products. They also order and stock prepackaged steaks items and other items. They ensure proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize product freshness and availability, while minimizing waste. They assist customers with special requests and answer questions about meat products and services. Meat cutters work with equipment such as meat saws, slicers, grinders, wrapping machines, and knives.

Assistant Veterans Affairs Rep.

Duties included but not limited to the following: Responsible for providing and promoting professional level employment service to increase, advocate and encourage veteran employment opportunities in two locations. Provided outreach to potential employers. Also, I assisted with resume preparation, job search, job development, training information, interview preparation and confidence building. In addition, I closely worked with partner agencies such as Adult education, Community Based Services, Vocational Rehabilitation (State & Federal), WIA, Volunteers of America Homeless Veterans reintegration program, D.A.V., Colleges, retraining & educational organizations, as well as community leaders to ensure that each client had access to and ability to use the opportunities available to them. I did client intake, screening, scheduled interviews and set up job fairs. Provided information to clients, employers and the public pertaining to available workforce programs. I performed daily interviews with veterans to determine training, placement and qualifications. I also took job orders and matched employer requirements with job seekers’ qualifications and made appropriate referrals. Prepared and organized monthly and quarterly statistical reports for the Department of Labor that reviewed compliance with state directives on behalf of veterans; aided in meeting the State's performance standards for these services.

Senior Wireline Operator

Duties included but not limited to: Use of logging tools for geological mapping and graphing of oil and gas wells. Operator of a shallow well perforating truck and other heavy vehicles used in the oil field. Maintained truck and paperwork in accordance with local, state and federal laws. Rebuilt and maintained all electrical and explosive equipment used in well perforating and logging. Was part of the team that started pump down perforating in the north east division. I was responsible for training wireline crews in our division to do pump down operations, also trained new wireline employees in our division. Conducted mandatory daily, weekly and monthly inventory inspections of all explosive materials.

He is the subject matter expert on all the team's weapons and battle drills. Leads his team in fire and maneuver and assists the squad leader as required. He is prepared to assume the duties of the squad leader at any time.

Post operations manager

Operations NCO for deployed units providing 24-hour operational coverage providing support to units and soldiers; conducts analysis and assessment of information, ensures reports that impact activities are completed, monitors all traffic, updates weather and road conditions, provides help desk coverage for other sections.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

I was a founding member of Martin County P.A.W.S. A non- profit animal rescue located in Eastern Kentucky and a founding member of the East Kentucky Veterans Advisory Council. In addition, I played a major role in obtaining more than 72,000 signatures to build a Veterans hospital in East Kentucky. I helped in opening a Veterans transitional home for homeless veterans. I was an active member in the local Society of Human Resource Managers and the Pikeville and Prestonsburg Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. I also coordinated contacts for the Volunteers of America to help homeless veterans or at risk veterans and their families with housing, moving, emergency food banks and assistance with immediate needs. I worked with Mountain Care Partnership, an out of state non-profit organization that uses volunteers to come to Eastern Kentucky to work on Iraq and Afghanistan veterans home repairs and immediate needs, along with that project I was able to include the local Job Corp construction students into this program to help the students earn onsite work experience with the master carpenters and electricians that volunteer for the rebuild projects. Started the On the Job training program through the Veterans Affairs for Schlumberger.
