I worked on a project on Residential building oversee construction and maintenance of facilities, and I learnt about plastering, scaffolding,concreting, and form work. 2
Project & Skills Partial replacement of concrete incorporating with waste foundry sand and waste ceramic tiles.
Ceramic waste and foundry sand were partially used to replacement of conventional aggregates and the replacement of 15% and 30% shows decrease in all strength parameter and 20% replacement shows an increase in strength parameter. As foundry sand is waste from metal industries and ceramic tiles are waste from construction industries therefore both waste can be effectively use in concrete mix hence an eco- friendly construction material. By using this waste in concrete, problems regarding to safely disposal is reduced.
