Due to the Covid virus my position was eliminated and I was furloughed and then eventually let go. My duties included overseeing all functions of two cross docks that worked on a tight schedule. We handled over 3500 parts a night. My teams had to sort the product and restage them to be loaded on tractor trailers within a 5 hour window. I also monitored 12 CDL drivers to make sure they had all of their correct paperwork. Bill of Ladings, Hazmat paperwork and I monitored the drivers ELOGS. To make sure they didn’t run out of drive time.
I had the responsibility of overseeing the loading of trucks for local deliveries, overseeing a parts receiving team. I was responsible for all aspects of staffing my crews. I also was responsible for payroll, entering times in Kronos, scheduling vacations and time off.
After all of the trucks were loaded and gone, I was responsible to ensure that 3 to 5 containers of product were unloaded and the parts were staged for put away the next morning. QSN/Anixter 2009/Optimas 2015 Marietta, GA 2007-2017 WAREHOUSE MANAGER
