I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ personally in 1989. I was born and raised by a radical Moslem family in Nigeria, West Africa. Since my encounter with the Lord Jesus and my conversion, my life took a different turn as I began to seek God with much earnestness to know His will and to pursue His counsel. I was involved in missionary labours in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Republic of Guinea as soon as I graduated from Mission school in 1995.

I moved to Canada in 1999 and I have been part of missionary activities to the First Nations and rural dwellers in Manitoba and Northern Quebec. I have been a strong member of Life Fountain Ministries since 2006 and I am currently the lead pastor of the missionary organization. In recent times, my heart has been deeply stirred by the LORD to get into rural areas to preach the gospel and fan the fire of revival. I am so discontented seeing many churches in cities especially in the GTA [Greater Toronto Area] whereas the hinterlands are starving from vibrant churches or ministers of the LORD.

It is this discontentment which in part heightened my prayer for direction and making enquiries through online and physical contacts where ministers of the gospel might be needed to strengthen the work of the gospel in the rural areas of Canada. That is how I came across your advertisement, few days ago, for a pastor at Gorrie Bible Fellowship.

These are my statement of beliefs:

I believe that there is one God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, was wholly God and wholly man, lived a sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, arose bodily from the grave, and ascended into Heaven.

I believe that Jesus Christ will literally return to earth. I believe that God the Holy Spirit is active in convincing unbelievers of their need for salvation, and is the Comforter and Guide Who lives in every believer.

I believe that the Bible is the Word of God without any error, the sole authority for life and faith. I believe that man is a special creation of God, made in His image, but that through the sin of the first man, Adam, mankind fell so that all men are sinners and need salvation. I believe that salvation is a gift received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
