My name is Jou Tze Jeng and I am interested in the HR position at company. I attended the information session and am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the credo of helping and being responsible for the company. I am a psychology professional with over 4 years of experience in non-profit and teaching and have received The Best Empathy Awards for delivering outstanding counseling skills.

I have a bachelors degree in psychology from Soochow University where I gained one year of counseling experience during an internship. During my time at Soochow University, I was also a day care center teacher. My teaching experience honed my leadership, communication, and coaching skills. While I was the teaching assistance in HR management class, one of my foreign classmates in the classroom was worried about the report and the culture adaptation. He consulted with me that he was worried about his achievement in class. I listened to him and gave him my suggestions based on my training. After that, I placed him to the position that he adept to. To help facilitate this, I taught him with patience and to listen to what he tried to say. Also, I separated his learning works to make him easier to catch up the learning. During the class, my group even received the highest grades in the class. He loved learning after his grade progressed and that he had a friendly environment in the class in Taiwan.

I am pursuing a Master in Global Management with concentration in digital transformation at Thunderbird School of Global Management. I am currently taking Global Marketing and Data Analysis, Strategy Management and Leadership, and Communication and Negotiation courses. The global marketing and strategy management courses have enhanced my ability to market products and set strategy. I have also learned to how to analyze consumers spending patterns and to use Tableau to visualize the data. In the Strategy Management and Leadership course, I cultivated my ability to lead and negotiate with others.

In addition, I enjoy working with different cultures, and using data analytics to help solve people issues. I love a challenge and I know I can help patients and give feedback to society.
