Waste heat recovery using Peltier Effect.

Recovering waste heat from various objects and surroundings and using it for electrical appliances by converting heat energy to electrical energy using Peltier Effect. DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF VENTURI WIND TURBINE

In this project we have tried to improvise the efficiency of Invelox wind turbine by modifying the design of the duct by providing twists. The main idea behind the twist is to create a swirl motion inside the duct and there by generating a low Pressure Zone in the middle and High Pressure Zone in the circumterential area which will in turm make the incoming wind to get focused and forced to strike the blade of the turbine in a more effective manner which will ultimately increase power output of the wind turbine.

CFD ANALYSIS OF TWISTED DUCT WITH DESIGN VARIATIONS INVOLVING VORTEX FLOW. The Conventional power Generation from wind mill takes up large area and it requires higher wind speed. Our main objective is to reduce the area and to improve the Efficiency. We direct the wind through a funnel arrangement and pass it on to low level turbine with the help of a nozzle; it can produce power, even From a wind speed as low as 2mph.In this project we have tried to improvise the efficiency of Invelox wind turbine by modifying the design of the duct by providing twists. The main idea behind the twist is to create a swirl motion inside the duct and there by generating a low Pressure Zone in the middle and High Pressure Zone in the circumterential area which will in turm make the incoming wind to get focused and forced to strike the blade of the turbine in a more effective manner which will ultimately increase power output of the wind turbine. For this purpose various twisted duct designs were made using 3D modeling software [CREO and SOLIDWORKS] and analyzed using Ansys software. In order to create a twIsted duct we made a creative setup tor twisting the sheets at various angles.Finally the twisted sheets were made using the setup and welded together to get the twisted duct.
