LinkedIn:www.linkedin.com/in/simbarashe-kuchena-2417b4121 Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a highly motivated, fast-learning and responsible individual. I have always been driven to push the boundaries of my own capabilities. Business has always been my passions as a result I have a degree in Maritime Logistics and Business Management from the Australian Maritime College (University of Tasmania). I am a pro-active individual who is always looking for an opportunity to complement my theoretical understanding with practical knowledge and to positively progress. I was formally employed at Dubai Ports (DP) World Australia, the Australian branch of DP World International, one of the largest terminals and stevedoring operators in the world. My time at the company working as a Customer Centre Officer then a National Ship Planner has allowed me to develop multiple skills. I have a proven track record of:

• Managing large scale operations in an effective and efficient manner

• Making decisions that affect revenue and cost on a day to day bases

• Multitasking and being results-orientation

• Working with multiple stake holders, international, domestics, internal and external. Since then I have had the privilege to be back in my home country of Zimbabwe and engage in learning about commercial farming. I have also had the privilege of working in a multicultural environment and partaking in challenging time sensitive work. I possess the ability to adapt to my surroundings as well as, to communicate and interact effectively in English in a culturally aware manner. I aspire to continue to learn about business and the world around me and to further my education at postgraduate level in the future. I hope to one day manage and lead a modern and dynamic enterprise in a way that is profitable while accomplishing stakeholder goals. I believe that the greatest asset a business can have is its human capital and that the greatest skill to have as an individual is the ability to cultivate and maintain mutually beneficial long- term relationships.

I look forward to your response and I thank you for your time and consideration. Kind Regards,

Simbarashe Kuchena
