Health and Safety

• Formulate, establish, Plan, develop, implement and update (PDCA cycle) organization's occupational Quality, Health Safety Security and Environment policies, procedures and programs. Implement cost effective safety management/accident prevention strategies to control direct and indirect costs arising from work related accidents and ill health involving guests, employees and contractors

• Identify Chemical/Biological/Radiological (CBR) hazards and appraise conditions which may cause accidents. Investigate and analyze incidents resulting in injuries such as civil claims (i.e., personal injury claims), property damage, or near misses to evaluate and determine causes and preventive measures. Acting team leader for (e.g., HAZMAT, HACCP, HSEIA. HAZOP, HAZID, HAZAN, QRA, etc.). Prepare reports and make recommendations including action plans to alleviate such situations and take preventive measures.

• Maintain, monitor, audit and review QHSSE Management System to identify requirements impacts on customers and employees’ feedback for food hygiene, competency, evaluating implementation, training matrix, safety orientations, meetings, inspections, etc. Direct the activities of assigned staff to ensure compliance with objectives, policies and procedures. Provide advice on QHSSE matters to department managers and assist them in their responsibilities as needed.

• Further to establish and or ensure H&S Enforce plans, policies, risk assessment and procedures are in place, ensure customers/ employees are complying with the same in line with their competency (fit for the tasks give), signage, alerts and training matrix given.

• Ensure there is meaning of first aid arrangements as per company policy and rescue procedure, first aid kits, and or clinic, health surveillance system, etc.

• Share, participate during meetings and individual discussions with section managers all advises on QHSSE Local Legislations/regulations and standards and their application in the Organization, report of new local Legislations, Norms and Standards modifications and propose relevant updates of Organization procedures.

• Develop, implement, and maintain a Permit to Work System and forms/checklists such as (risk analysis, routine work, hot work, confined space, vehicle, site access, etc. …). Ensure risk assessment is done for all activities. Perform on-site audits according to 45001 to control measures are implemented and risks mitigated to ALARP.

Environment

Quality

• Monitor and organize follow up of the different reviews and audit reports

(shareholders, insurers, asset management, training, risk management, etc.).
