To answer the telephone calls and to keep a track of the in-house activities like giving information regarding the availability of the rooms and making reservations based on it.

To maintain up to date knowledge on the current services that are being offered and make sure that this information is conveyed to the customers in an effective way.

To ensure that the rooms have been allocated properly, hand over the keys to them and ensure that all the registration and check in procedures have been followed as per the given standards.

To enter all the relevant guest related information, so that it can be retrieved in case there is a requirement, and to maintain and update the accounts and post them accurately.

At the time of check-in or over the call of guest I try to upsell the next category rooms so that would generate more revenue to the hotel.

At the time of check-in provide information about hotel service and offers to the guest.

Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance departments to assess room status for cleanliness, maintenance and any repair work.

Performs guest transactions on front desk computer system, utilizing hotel PMS (Property Management System).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Provides quality service for guests in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.

Takes ownership of guest complaints and provides prompt solutions within scope of authority.

Completes shift checklist.

Monitors front desk areas for safety, security, and appearance and reports any injuries, accidents or problems as necessary.

Taking ownership of every guest request and consistently handling them in a customer focused manner, with prompt attention to detail and personal recognition.

Processing wake up calls.

Handling day to day cash and converting foreign exchange currency.

Arranging and coordinating with transportation department for hotel car.

Updating member points in wydham portal.

Getting calls from guest for decorating room and providing them with decoration package and coordinating with housekeeping for decoration of rooms.

Prepare bills and present them to guest at the time of the guest’s departure settle all bills on departure. ADITIONAL SKILLS:
