2006 Part time involvement in a re-vegetation study conducted by the Tanzanian Tree and Seed Agency at Geita Gold Mine, Geita, Tanzania.

2009 Two weeks volunteership at the Bambelela Wildlife Care Centre & Guest Farm, Bela Bela (Warmbaths), South Africa.
Duties: Data collection, data input, project proposal, training volunteers for data collection, project thesis on the vegetation study of Bambelela Wildlife Centre.
2010 Lory Park Zoo and Owl Sanctuary as an assistant bird keeper. Worked part time as a tour guide for school groups and Ranger Day program.
